Particle Counter Calibration: What Techmaster Does and Does Not Do
A clear statement so that no customer is misled about our calibration services.
We are not trying to mislead anyone
Techmaster does not hold Particles Plus’s proprietary calibration software and does not offer calibration of Particles Plus instruments. We do not represent that we can.
Particle counters are not on our scope
Our accredited scope is published, and particle counters are not on it. We only perform calibration services that are covered by our scope, so we do not calibrate particle counters of any brand.
Our articles are informational
Content on techmaster.us about instruments outside our scope is for general information only. It is not an offer to calibrate those instruments.
Follow your manufacturer’s instructions
If your manufacturer requires a specific calibration service or provider for your device, please go directly to the service they specify.
Particles Plus customers: how to get your instrument calibrated
- Contact Particles Plus directly, or one of its authorized service providers, through particlesplus.com.
- Or send your request to Techmaster. Include the model and serial number, and tell us you would like it forwarded. With your permission, we will pass it to Particles Plus. We will not quote or perform the calibration ourselves.
- Other particle counter brands: the same applies. Please contact your instrument’s manufacturer or its authorized service provider.
- For instruments on our scope, Techmaster is glad to help. See exactly what we are accredited for on our published scope.
Not sure whether your instrument is on our scope? Ask before you ship. We will give you a straight answer.
