Techmaster has completed 1,002 vibration calibrations in the last ten years across 209 instrument lines. These are the types we handle most:

Vibration rental: what to check when it arrives

• Enter each accelerometer's sensitivity from its certificate into your data acquisition system. A nominal value adds error.
• Mount sensors by the specified method and torque. Magnet and adhesive mounts lower the usable frequency range compared with a stud.
• Tie cables down close to the sensor to cut triboelectric noise on charge-mode accelerometers.
• Check payload mass and fixture weight against the shaker's rated force at your test frequency.

What calibration comes with the rental?

Every rental ships with a current calibration certificate from a Techmaster laboratory. Check that its due date covers your last day of testing and that it covers the ranges you will use.

Vibration calibration is on the ANAB ISO/IEC 17025 scope at the Santa Clara laboratory only, covering 0.2 to 36 g peak from 1 Hz to 10 kHz. Sensors or frequencies outside that range are certified NIST-traceable. Exact ranges and uncertainties are on our published accreditation scope.
