New accredited capabilities

March 7, 2025

A calibration laboratory is audited from time to time by its accreditation body to ensure that calibration laboratories continue to meet the operating requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. The accreditation body evaluates the laboratory’s ability to produce accurate test data, calibrations, and technical expertise.

This 2022 we completed the scheduled audit for our laboratories in the United States. As part of this latest audit, we increased capabilities in our scope; not only did they evaluate our previous qualifications, but they evaluated each new range added.

We fulfilled the satisfactory evaluation of the general requirements for our laboratories’ competence, quality system, resources, and processes.

ANAB, our accreditation house, has ensured that we meet the requirements that any calibration laboratory under ISO/IEC 17025 performs.

We are a trusted laboratory that performs calibrations following the standard and provides accurate results and complete calibration certificates.

The audit process that our laboratories must comply with is extensive; in the audit, a thorough review of documentation and a physical evaluation of the laboratories and procedures, and then concludes with an assessment of our accreditation, which allows us to access the secure renewal of our accreditation.

Our current accreditation includes calibration, dimensional measurement, and environmental testing capabilities.

We want to let you know that we have now increased the following capabilities:

  • Conductivity we can do up to 10,000 µS/cm
  • AC and DC High Voltage Measure up to 100 kV
  • AC Power Source up to 21 kW
  • Power Sensors from 9 kHz to 50 GHz
  • Protractors and Angle up to 90°
  • Thread Plug/Ring Gages up to 6.3 inches (only at Fremont)
  • Barometric Pressure Measure up to 39 psia
  • Force-Measuring Equipment Tension/Compression up to 50 kgf (NIST Class F Weights)
  • Volumetric Recipients
  • Radiation (Infrared Thermometers) up to 500 °C (TSD and TSV only)
  • Surface Plate Overall Flatness and Local Area Flatness up to 161 DL for overall and up to 0.001 inches for Local Area
  • Distance measure up to 500 inches
