How often should pH meters, conductivity meters, and gas detectors be recalibrated?
pH and conductivity benchtop meters are typically calibrated annually (with daily user verification using bracketing buffers). Portable gas detectors require a bump-test before each use plus full span calibration every 6 months per OSHA / ISEA RP 12-2.3. TOC analyzers and titrators follow USP / ISO method-specific revalidation schedules.
